GSMD's award winning competition team has been competing for several years under the direction of April Grace and Kelli DePaolo. The team has received many high awards including overall awards, choreography awards and special mentions. In 2018 they received the "Epic Moment" award for a piece titled "Make an Impact."
Dancers ages 6 to 18 may audition for a spot. Team dancers will have a mandatory weekly rehearsal and technique class. In addition to this dancer are encouraged to take as many other dance classes per week as possible. We attend 2-3 competitions annually and either a convention or a performance trip.
