What are the cost classes? All rates are based on a 4 classes per month. Some months you may have 5 of a given class, this serves as a makeup for missed holiday classes (i.e. Thanksgiving/Christmas). Tuition Rates Pre-K Classes (30 minutes) 1 type of class - $45 per month 2 types of class - $65 per month 3 types of class- $80 per month
All other classes (50 minutes) 1 type of class - $65 per month 2 types of class - $85 per month 3 types of class - $105 per month 4 types of class - $125 per month 5 types of class - $145 per month 5 types of class - $165 per month
Technique/Conditioning class (75 minutes) Added to regular classes - $30 per month *If this is the only class you take it is $75 per month
Pointé (45 Minutes) Added to Ballet class is - $20 per month *Must be enrolled in a Ballet class and must be approved by Mrs. April to enroll. Only open to Level 3 and 4. -This is for the safety of the dancer. Dancers who begin pointé too young can harm the growth plates in the feet. -Also dancers must have strong ballet base before beginning pointé.
Additional Fees (all optional) Solos - $175 – Includes up to 3 lessons and choreography Duet - $100 Per dancer Trio - $75 Per dancer
One additional change – all students who take a private lesson with any instructor must be enrolled in a class at GSMD. If there are extenuating circumstances a non-student fee of $8 will be incurred each lesson.
Will there be a recital? Yes. There is a mid-year recital (usually around Christmas or Halloween) with simple costumes and a bigger recital in the spring. There will be a recital fee for each recital.
What if I don’t know what class I want to sign up for? Your first visit to a class is free. You may try each type once before registering.
What if there is bad weather? We do not follow school closings. If school is closed or bad weather has occurred please check the homepage of the website. www.GraceMotionandDance.com or our FaceBook page. Emails are always sent to inform you of class cancellations. In the event of multiple closings, in which extra monthly classes do not take care of a makeup class will be offered.
Where do I purchase dance clothes? GSMD has a variety of dancewear in stock, we can also order anything you need. We are an authorized Revolution, Capezio, and Eurotard dealer.
What should I wear to class? Please refer to the "Class Expectations" Tab for our dress code. Students are expected to be in proper dance attire when arriving for class. Students without proper dance attire will not be allowed to participate in class.
